Tonight was my 5th promotion in this venue and I can honestly say 'most organised' The lighting and sound were just right and everything flowed nicely without any hiccups. I was panicking a bit when the PA wasn't even set up 1 an hour before doors! It was a 4k rig and I have never seen one so compact before, it took 30 minutes to 'wind up' and did a great job.

Diablo's were first on and did a cracking 30 minute set of their own repertoire as did 'Spitroast' the Loony punk girls from Bournemouth and finally Demonic Upchucks all great supports for the main act.

I think the Subs were a little taken back when they arrived at the gig. I have to admit it is not a luxury venue and there is a spit and sawdust feel to the place but it's the centre of town and the piss is dirt cheap! All good in my books we're only after 'The Sound'. Once the lights were up and 'merch' was laid out Mr Harper admitted it did create an atmosphere which he and his band magnified ten fold with there 'Fuck off' set which I couldn't pay alot of attention too as I was 'holding back' the mosh from invading the small stage most of it! Warhead my fav was defo in there. We also had a 3 song encore and finished up about 11.30pm. What a wicked night.
